Materials & construction

The load-bearing structure is built from Fjordly's own glued-laminated timber beam system. It's real wood — not an imitation or composite — joined with custom-engineered steel brackets, ensuring the structure's rigidity, precision, and long service life.

All steel brackets are hot-dip galvanized, to guarantee corrosion resistance even in the most demanding conditions — salty, humid environments like the Mediterranean coastal climate. They're finished with powder coating in a metallic RAL 9006M tone.

Every visible part serves a structural purpose. Nothing is added purely for decoration.

The floors are made of thermally treated natural wood, for greater resistance and durability against moisture and outdoor use.

SOL Collection always uses the same combination: real wood finished in a warm white tone with a 3-layer treatment that protects against UV rays and moisture, and steel brackets in a metallic RAL 9006M finish — no additional colour options.
